Welcome to Cooking Travel Talks.
Cooking Travel Talks is where food, culture, and global connection meet. Whether I’m in a village in The Gambia cooking yassa, or live on Instagram making Nigerian suya or Colombian arepas, I’m always learning something deeper about people through their food.
Where It All Started?
It started on Instagram Live during lockdown, and has since evolved into something more meaningful.
Today, it’s a core part of how I travel and who I am. When I visit a country, I don’t just sightsee. I step into kitchens. I listen, I cook, I taste, and I learn about generational ingredients passed down through families.
These posts are about more than just recipes. They’re about connection, migration, memory, pride, and sometimes even healing.
