Introduction

Are you looking for the best hotels to stay in Morocco? Here are the 6 best hotels to stay in Morocco.

If there’s one thing Morocco does exceptionally well. It’s the beautiful hotels and Riads in Morocco to stay. Since moving here I have stayed in a number of Riads in Morocco from Fes all the way down to Marrakech. I have also stayed in a number of luxurious hotels for events and gone to a few for conferences and meetings. Whether you’re after a peaceful Riad in the medina, a luxury resort outside the city, or a cosy kasbah-style retreat. Morocco knows how to do hospitality. If you’re planning a trip to Morocco, you are going to want to know the best hotels to stay in Morocco. Here are the 6 best hotels to stay in Morocco.

Riad au 20 Jasmins – Fes

The Riad au 20 Jasmins is tucked inside the winding streets of the Fes medina, and once inside it feels like stepping into a peaceful sanctuary. The traditional decor, the welcoming Moroccan mint-tea, the open courtyard, and warm hospitality made this one of my favourite stays in Morocco. If you are visiting Fes you can book the riad via Booking.com here.

Heure Bleue Palais Relais & Châteaux – Essaouira

The Heure Bleue Palais Relais & Châteaux in Essaouira is a luxurious hotel featuring a terrace with a heated outdoor pool and panoramic views of the Medina and the sea. I loved Essaouira because it’s close to the beach, and is very well know for its fish. I would highly recommend going if you fly into Marrakesh because its only 1.5 hours from Marrakesh. If you are planning to add Essaouira on your list then you can book the hotel here.

In Club Palmeraie Resorts – Marrakesh

This was one of the first hotels I stayed when I moved to Morocco. The Palmeraie is located just outside the city centre of Marrakesh. The area is well known for its palm groves and resort vibes. If you’re looking for a more relaxing, resort-style experience with space to breathe this is it. You can book this hotel here.

Nelia Marrakech, Riad Collection – Marrakesh

Oh my this riad is simply beautiful and is perfect for first-timers in Marrakesh and incredibly budget friendly. I stayed here on a during Ramadan and absolutely loved it. It’s within the medina of Marrakesh and is only a short walk from the main square. If you are looking to book this hotel you can do so here.

Kasbah Rose – Tangier

Kasbah is one of the hidden gem with a more homely, boutique feel. I stayed here for a long weekend last year and loved that the decor blended both Moroccan charm with a touch of modern day decor. I would say it’s perfect for a quiet escape or solo reflection. If you are planning a trip to Tangier then I would highly recommend Kasbah Rose which you can book here.

Fairmont Royal Palm – Marrakesh

And the best to last. The Fairmont is truly stunning. Luxury on another level. I came here for a two day conference and absolutely loved it. From the spa to the golf course to the stunning views of the Atlas Mountains, this is a treat-yourself kind of stay. Ideal if you want a break from the medina hustle and bustle in Marrakesh. If you are looking for luxury then you can book this hotel here.

I have also a reel of the hotel on my Instagram which you can find here.
