Remember lockdown? Zoom fatigue, endless banana bread, TikTok dances, and… oh don’t get me started on the endless playlists. In a time when the world is standing still, music seems to one of the few things that is keeping us moving. Whether it’s blasting tunes while working from home or dancing in our living rooms to keep spirits high, songs took on a whole new meaning during 2020. Here is a Lockdown playlist 2020!
My work colleagues (aka the coolest team ever) pulled together what we proudly called the #Lockdown 2020 Playlist. It started off as a bit of group banter in the work chat just a fun way to lift the mood but ended up becoming a solid soundtrack to one of the strangest and most unforgettable times in modern history.
So I decided to bring it back. Whether you’re feeling nostalgic, want to laugh at how chaotic those times were, or you’re just looking for some good tunes, I’ve listed 10 songs that perfectly relate to lockdown life.
